Plex for Shield TV - Pausing Brings Up Status Menu / Progress Bar

Hello. Since the past 2 updates for the Shield Plex app, Plex for Shield TV has started bringing up the status menu / progress bar when the pause button is pressed on the Shield remote. If this change is not in error, then it is important this is made a toggleable option in Plex. I prefer being able to pause without needing to press an extra button or wait for a menu to go away. As other have remarked, the “ok” button on the Shield remote is just fine for this type of pausing.

Hello, I noticed the same behaviour yesterday on my Android TV app. Previously, using the play/pause button paused the video without bringing up the status bar.
Since I watch a lot of subtitled movies this is a problem because when I pause the video for reading some subtitles now I have to wait for the status bar to disappear each time to read the subtitles.
As mentioned above, I found too that Reddit thread where other people have noticed the “problem”.
