I’m also seeing this; this happens with both Edge Dev Preview and Chrome, but doesn’t occur in in-market Edge. There’s some issue with your touch and pen handling in Chromium. I also see there’s other posts on the forum about this: from March of this year and from last year, over a year ago now.
This experience is, in a word, awful, and really needs addressing.
