I’ve tried uninstalling and removing all userdata folders, but the issue still persists. The taskbar hides the play/pause buttons which makes plex basically unusable. I would appreciate any suggestions for a fix.
I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and am having the same issue. On Windows 10 everything worked as expected, but now full screen plex won’t cover the taskbar.
If I set “Keep Plex on top of windows” it will be on top of the taskbar while in a normal window, but as soon as I maximise this stops working.
I have the taskbar set to autohide which works until an app gets a notification causing it to unhide - this is providing not a very good viewing experience!
Do you have a custom display scaling?
I’ve just realised I have mine at 190%, which was causing windows 11 snapping features to crash explorer (the new hover over maximise button options).
Changing this to 200 fixed that, but also appears to have fixed the taskbar showing over plex.
It’s a pain as I like 190, and 200 makes everything seem too big now, but at least it solves things for now.
