Plex for Windows app - Refresh of page (with F5) no longer working

In the Plex for Windows app, the ability to refresh the display with the F5 key no longer works in the latest version 1.47.1.3086-6c3d964f. To reproduce: open app to home page then press F5. Result: nothing happens.

I tested this again by reinstalling the prior version 1.46.1.3056-ab91bdc0. Pressing F5 on the home page refreshes the page.

A manual refresh is sometimes needed after new media is added to the server, as the page doesn’t always auto-refresh.

It should auto refresh. If not, that’s a bug. If you can provide details we can look into it.

The auto-refresh problem is infrequent, but sometimes a new show can be seen on the Recently Added list on a Library page but isn’t seen on the Home page until a refresh is done (or the app is exited and reopened). I probably can’t provide any more details because this problem can’t be reliably reproduced.

Does your response suggest that the manual refresh (F5) function has been removed deliberately?

F5 and F11 are working again on 1.48.0 which will be released shortly.
