Plex for Windows Error 4294967283 while trying to play remotely. Can play normally on Plex Web

This remote client can’t play. Its a lenovo laptop with 7200u CPU and Intel GPU. The video file is HEVC, and plays transcoded on Plex Web (via Edge), and plays direct via Kodi Plex. This one of 2 remote windows 10 clients with the same issue. No other clients have this issue. Have had them reinstall plex, update gpu drivers, etc. I have remote logged into the server, and when they play, my plexdash shows a direct stream, but on the remote client it keeps on “buffering” without any actual data transfer until throwing the 4294967283 error. I just wanted to add that both Plex Web and Plex Media Player work flawlessly on Windows 10 remote clients. It is just Plex for windows, and it occurs with ALL remote windows 10 users using the latest Plex for Windows application.

Any reply from the devs??? It’s kind of crazy that there is not even an acknowledgement.

Did you modify the Network configuration under plex settings in the web interface?
I had the same problem since I fixed my Network configuration (custom certificate & custom URL), now everything is working

Having this issue on my windows player. Also, hovering over anything flips it upsidedown…

Reinstalling fixes it temporarily

I haven’t touched my network configurations should I use a custom certificate? I don’t use a custom URL.
