Plex for windows not working

Server Version#: 1.16.5.1488
Player Version#:1.1.0.831-e1ae73b1

I cannot play anything on the new app. I get an error saying unexpected playback error (-13)

I also have no option turn hardware decoding on or off.

Windows 7? Win10? Win XP? All updated? Local or remote on a pc or mobile device? What is the file type of the content you are trying to plat (if known…mp4, mkv, avi…)? Logs would be ideal, but if not, list out more details which are key.

Sorry both windows 10. Remote on a second pc. Tried both mp4 and mkvs, none of my files would work.

However, restarting my laptop has fixed it.

Same for me. I cannot play anything on the new app. I get an error saying unexpected playback error (-13)

Previous Plex Media Player worked just fine. Restarting laptop DOES NOT fix this. Win 10 up to date. From my local server/router, I tried mp3, flac, mp4 and mkv.

Getting this as well. Web App works flawlessly. Windows App gives me: unexpected playback error (-13)

It is possible to get the player logs after you get the error

Sure. 1 min and let me figure out to pull those out.

Set them in a PM to you BigWheel. Thank you for taking the time to look at these. Much appreciated.

Looks like an issue with ffmpeg which i believe will be updated due to issue with indirect connections. are you on the local network with server? logs indicate it is playing remotely possibly under and indirect connection.

if you are local not totally sure why it it is failing with direct connection. What are your secure connection setting on server set to, and what is the fall back to insecure setting at in the app

Indirect from a remote location. Unsecured. I will test this tonight locally. Thank you!!!

Works fine from home. No issues at all.
