I updated to Plex for Windows 1.8.0.1159-67c4a549 this morning and discovered that a previous Plex for Windows issue has returned with this latest release: Music library quick nav (Alphabetical) does not work properly when viewing Music Library in Album mode, sorting by Album Artist.

Similar to the same issue that surfaced back in September of 2019, clicking on the “# thru Z” side navigation no longer functions accurately. In Album mode, sorting by Album Artist, clicking on a letter in the navigation does not navigate to that alphabetical section of the library.

Like before (in 2019) this problem is NOT prevalent viewing my Music Library in Artist mode, sorting by Title.

Hoping that I can find the previous version of Plex for Windows until this is fixed in a new release.

After seeing there was an update to Plex for Windows posted 4/17/20, I installed version# 1.8.2.1192-89432618.

The alphabetical listing nav error that surfaced in 1.8.0.1159-67c4a549 is still prevalent in this new version Plex for Windows.

Reverting back to Plex-1.6.5.1097-3bb9dc68.

The same issue exists in the web app.
It has already been reported and will be fixed.
