Recently I’m having a recurring issue that my player won’t start on Xbox One. After a quick googling I found some old entries that it’s an Xbox issue. Something about that the console fails to give the user information to the Plex client. It can be right, I’ve seen YouTube to launch with no credentials as well. But there a quick app restart helps. With Plex it’s much more stochastic. Sometimes I only have to reboot. Sometimes I have to uninstall and reinstall Plex. Sometimes nothing helps.
I had two system updates recently, and I was hoping that the issue might be on Microsoft’s side because Edge started to act weirdly as well. Yesterday I had this issue, I reinstalled Plex, and it worked. Today my system got updated. And now it doesn’t work. Not even after a reinstall.
Honestly, I don’t know whether you receive my crash logs or not, but I have the enchanced error reporting enabled.
Please help, I like Plex, but it’s getting extremely annoying!
