Plex force re-enabling sharing of personal data (bug?)

The Plex iOS app seems to be forcing on sharing of personal data despite me not agreeing to this.

The iOS app does not allow disabling this as it re-enables the setting shortly after you try to disable it.

in addition there is a bug in the app that shows the attached error when trying to disable it.

Plex app version?
Phone model and iOS release?

The Android mobile app had a similar bug several months ago.

Go to the referenced web page, https://www.plex.tv/vendors-us/. You can choose “All No” to stop sharing of information.

@sammcj Are you still observing this issue? Have you tried signing out and back in? If you can reproduce the issue could you reproduce it and grab your iOS logs and share them with me?

Seems to be fixed now, but the iOS app version is the same.

Was there a fix applied server side?

It could have been a backend change. Glad it’s working again.
