Hello, I’m using LG plex app 2.2.0, but it doesn’t show the new free plex TV channels (https://www.plex.tv/watch-free-tv/), it appears fine on my Roku devices.
There’s no updates availale from the LG content store, any idea as to why it’s not appearing?

Huh. That’s a really old version. Is this an actual LG TV or another brand that just also uses WebOS?
Is this a 1080p TV? The newer versions of the Plex app are meant for 4K TVs only.
Yes its a 4K TV, I actually found in this thread (LG client update 2.2.0 - But what is new?) a similar discussion.
The v2.2.0 is the Plex “loader”, the App Client version is 5.1.2, and Platform 3.8.0.

Oh sorry. I didn’t check the link you referred to earlier and realize you were asking about the new streaming Live TV feature. That isn’t support on LG currently. You can see the list of supported clients at https://support.plex.tv/articles/free-live-tv-streaming-overview/.
I thought you were asking about the ad-supported on-demand movies and tv shows. You should be able to access that on the LG app.

Hi, I found your thread because I have the same problem. It appears LG will probably not allow LG users to access the Free Live TV feature from Plex. Perhaps this is because LG already has the free extended “channel plus” benefit. I would prefer to have Plex Live TV though since it is part of my Plex subscription. I am going to still ask Plex to reach out to LG to fix this issue.
