I concur with the above. Surely if Plex’s API isn’t reachable it should still be able to timeout then continue to work (including discovering new content) in an offline mode. Wasn’t aware that I needed a connection to Plex to do seemingly offline tasks. I can only hope that servers set up to be isolated LAN-only boxes don’t also require access to the hosted API to add new content too.
