I have run Plex as server on my Synology NAS. Now I get an error when it tries to access TV or Movies. The files are in sub directories under a shared file called MEDIA. Plex has r/w premissions to MEDIA. Why can’t it acces them?
The error I get is :- “There was an unexpected error loading this library”
Music and photos are fine.

Here are the logs.
One thing. When I read your pinned post about permissions I went into file share and Plex already had R/W permissions to MEDIA share. I must have done this in the past when I created the new share. Could this affect anything?
Actually not filesystem related as it turns out.

You’ll need to address it first.

Thanks. I have deleted the db file and am now rebuilding.
That has cured the problem. The TV shows are back and the rest are re-building.
Thank You.
