Player Version#: Plex-1.35.1.2632-c6783c78-x86_64 (64 bits)
Once again, Plex, which was working properly yesterday evening, does not work anymore this morning. Message : No secured connections.
This happens each time the Plex server software has not been upgraded to the most recent one.
Thanks to make Plex working again at the soonest.
If there is something I should do on my side, please tell me.
Thanks for your help and your anwer.
I did everything you wrote, but I have still no access to Plex.
The same happened to me 2 times and the 2 times, it did not work because things were not wright on Plex side. The two times, it was when issuing of a new version.
The first time, it was because the server version was not working and it took two days to your staff to correct it.
The second time was last week.
The current version PlexMediaServer-1.24.4.5081 was posted ; I uploaded and installed it.
And one day later, the version posted on your download site was the PlexMediaServer-1.24.3.5033, which was previous to the one posted on the site.
You had then to explain me how to uninstall the PlexMediaServer-1.24.4.5081 to be able to reinstall the PlexMediaServer-1.24.3.5033.
I am convinced that the same is happening and the version PlexMediaServer-1.24.4.5081 is not working on the Synology DS415Play.
Could you have someone checking it and working on it.
On my side, there is no network issue, as I can access my Synology with no problem, except for Plex.
I could see in the Package center that Plex is not running.
But I can’t restart it as I cannot reach https://192.168.1.11:32400/web.
Then, I checked that the log file list is empty.
I am sorry, if I did something wrong. But on my side, there is no arrow beside the word open, then I cannot select Run to start the server, as you can see on the screenshot attached.
Clicking on the Plex icon, I could se that Plex was running.
I stopped it and checked that there is a log file in the log folder.
I then waited for some time before clicking on the Plex icon I could run it.
I waited for five minutes and then stopped the server. before I uploaded the zip folder.
Here it is.
Plex opened and I could find all my libraries again.
Plex is now repaired and is running properly.
I have not understood what went wrong in Plex, but it works.
I would like to thank very much for your help and your patience. On top of that, thanks to you, I have learnt a lot about the way to run Plex on my NAS Synology.
Without your patience and your help, I could not have solved the issue as, not understanding what was wrong, I could not do anything on my own.
