Plex hardware transcoding - missing dev/dri folder

so I have been following the guide here: DSM 7 + Packaging 2.0 + Docker -- The How-To

but in method 2, the line --device=/dev/dri:/dev/dri
causes an error.

Checking my system, it seems this folder does not exist. My hardware supports Intel QuickSync, but I don’t know how I go about getting this folder created so I can use hardware transcoding.
