I don’t know where to post this, since there doesn’t seem to be any way to contact plex directly. Every single day while watching things, my playback will stop. It will look like it’s loading, but will stay there stuck indefinitely until I close the media and play it again, or sometimes I have to restart the entire app (sometimes multiple times). Occasionally instead of stopping, it will just abruptly end the episode and start playing another (or when I try to restart it,it will ask to resume my position saying theres very little time left, and instantly end the episode after hitting play, despite it being in the middle of the episode).
It’s not related to any specific media or device. It’s on my home network so there shouldn’t be any networking problems, and I have a good computer, so I don’t see how it’s transcoding problems. It’s been happening for many months, persisting through many reboots, reinstalls and software updates. It seems like something is seriously wrong, and needs to be fixed by plex.
If there’s a way to contact plex to let them know about this please share, because It’s been happening for months, and I can’t continue to use plex if this is never going to be fixed. Doesn’t seem fair, especially since I’m paying for plex monthly.
