Playback just stops at random, cannot resume unless until I restart playback

Hey all,

I’ve ran into an issue where playback stops. No “slow connection” warning, no buffering circle, playback just terminates. after anywhere from 2-30 minutes of watch time, and will happen frequently across playback.

My issue persists across clients (Google Pixel 3a [8.3.1.19108], Google Chrome [4.34.4] and Chromecast) and across different codec’s and containers.

This is a fresh PMS install [1.20.0.3125-9661fc77c] on a Proxmox Ubuntu LXC container [20.04]

Media is mounted on an NFS share over a 10G link

I’ve tried the standard troubleshooting steps of optimizing the database, cleaning cache, reinstalling, different stable PMS versions, changing the etc.

I’ve peeked around the debug console, and there’s no error’s once playback stops
