Hi, cant seem to get transcoding working very well, my wifi network speeds can do 15-20mb/sec all day sustained and i’ve made sure nothing else is connected to 5G on my network, it doesnt seem to matter what device iI use to play these files, same on all buffer city and freezing.
What is a little odd though as it does it for some movies and not others, it tend to be movies ripped at a higher bit rate that have this problem but I cant see why that would make any difference, my PC isnt struggling at all, transcode barely hits 40% cpu and plex shows its only pushing 8mb/s second when i’ve set it to 1080p medium, 8mb/s should have no issues at all on my network.
Can anyone suggest anything to try as these look to soft and fuzzy played at 720p
