Plex HTPC 1.38.2 Crashes on Mac OS High Sierra

My Plex HTPC client just autoupdated and now immediately crashes upon launch. I downloaded the client again from the website but the crash message is the same. It seems to be related to some library dependency for Mac OS 10.14, I’m runnin 10.13.6.

Termination Reason: DYLD, [0x4] Symbol missing

Application Specific Information:
dyld: launch, loading dependent libraries

Dyld Error Message:
Symbol not found: _NSAppearanceNameDarkAqua
Referenced from: /Applications/Plex HTPC.app/Contents/MacOS/…/Frameworks/QtCore.framework/Versions/A/QtCore (which was built for Mac OS X 10.14)
Expected in: /System/Library/Frameworks/AppKit.framework/Versions/C/AppKit
in /Applications/Plex HTPC.app/Contents/MacOS/…/Frameworks/QtCore.framework/Versions/A/QtCore

Would be nice if the client would not autoupdate. Otherwise, thanks for a nice product.

Looks like our change to a newer Qt version changed the system requirements to 10.14. For now you can disable the autoupdater with the instructions in our old feedback thread: Plex HTPC feedback

The older version is available at https://downloads.plex.tv/htpc/1.37.3.3706-ad416bc2/macos/PlexHTPC-1.37.3.3706-ad416bc2-x86_64.zip
