It’s a bit inconvenient for me to have to use my keyboard and put in an admin password whenever it auto-updates.

You can disable auto-update if you want.

Add

[debug]
disableUpdater=true

to the plex.ini.

In the Plex For Windows client, how can we tell if we're running the current version?
