Plex HTPC quits out of playlist early when auto skipping credits

I’ve had this problem for a long time. I have a smart playlist of random episodes of TV shows that I run as background noise. I have auto skip credits and intros enabled on the client. I’ve noticed that every time an episode gets to the credits and Plex tries to auto skip to the next episode, instead of playing the next video in the playlist it quits playing and returns to the menu.

The playlist wasn’t completed, if I skip episodes manually it continues through the playlist without major issues.

Episodes that don’t have any credit skip info work fine, and the next episode plays as expected.

Any idea what’s going on?

I have attached a log output from when this happened recently. You can see the playback gets to around 97% at which point the credit skip marker is triggered. It seems like at this point a ‘stop’ command is given, and MPV exits since the video stopped.
