Plex indirect connections ip address.

I’ve setup my plex to allow connections from my Android, and headed out on vacation. It appears however a recent storm rebooted my home server and screwed some stuff up.

I attempted to remote in and fix it,. But the Ip address I had changed. Since Plex is using and indirect connections,. I’m assuming the relay server can see the new ip address. Is there a way to see that IP address?

Make sure your web browser is logged into plex.tv with your plex account
open the web app using the ‘Launch’ button on the plex.tv website

If you see your server now, then you can also do the following:

determine your X-Plex-Token
https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204059436-Finding-an-authentication-token-X-Plex-Token

open a new browser tab and type/copy in this URL
https://plex.tv/api/resources/?X-Plex-Token=.............................&includeHttps=1
(replace all the … with your own X-Plex-Token)

If you press Enter, you will get an XML response from which you can fetch all the info plex.tv has on your server(s) and clients.

Some web browsers do hide ‘raw’ XML from their users (Safari, I’m looking at you). In this case you may need to click on the background of the web page and request the page source code.

Thanks! Turns out my IP didn’t change…I was off one digit.
