Plex informs on TV, Chromecast etc. about an new update - Can this be stopped?

Hi,

This is a nice feature, but it is very confusing when there are little children sitting in front of the TV who cannot read any text, because they are younger than 6 years…

Can you please implement a way to choose if Plex should popup for updates on TV or not?

From November 2021. AFAIK, nothing has changed: Disable PMS Update Prompt on Android TV Client?

TL;DR: Cannot disable. Workaround: Create a managed user for use on TV, Chromecast etc. Only the admin/server-owner ID receives the prompt to update.

I created a feedback thread for this as well in the hopes Plex will change the behavior - Android TV Client - Disable Server Update Notification

Feel free to throw one of your votes on it, for whatever good that does these days.
