Plex iOS and Apple TV problem

I've previously used the Plex iOS app with airplay and my Apple TV. Today, I just tried to use airplay while watching a movie through the iOS app and the cast/airplay button no longer appears on the screen, so I have no way to airplay to my Apple TV. 

 

Please help!!

Why not just use PlexConnect? Anyways have you reset the iOS Device, aTV and entire network? What iOS version are you running on the aTV & iOS client?

Suggest you have a look in the iOS forum as I am sure this has been discussed before.

I believe the mods in that forum brought this topic here. Also if you are running PMS already PlexConnect would seem to be a good fit for this and would require one less device in play in between Pms and the Atv instead of airplaying from the plex for iOS app when PlexConnect could do the job.

That would be a mistake by them then, as Plexconnect was not mentioned by the OP and the IOS forum is where people who know the app etc hang out.

I agree, but you still find people scared of Plexconnect because of the Profile, Command Line etc.

Ya I would think it would be better suited in the iOS app topic as well but for some reason it was dumped over here so I figured hey why not suggest PlexConnect since they have PMS and a aTV already :wink: guess we will see if the op even responds. So far nada.
