fast forward now broken, when selecting any speed, plays in super slow motion, when choosing to go back to normal mode, nothing happens. Have to restart show to get Normal mode. Also tried different quality (normal, transcode) same issue. tried different shows and movies, same issue.

Same. Not a single speed than 1x is working anymore after the last update. Annoying.
no plex will have to fix it. for now i switched to infuse player
I can just add to the choir that I experience the same problem on all my iOS devices (works fine on web player on OSX though). Searching for others having the same issue led me to this thread.
Same issue. No fix for this yet.
