When I change the playback speed (iOS) regardless of the video, it freezes (both video and audio). I have to close the video to fix it. Even if I switch back to normal speed, the video remains frozen.
Same for the past couple of days on ios.
Same-ish. Video freezes, but audio seems to slow to about 0.1x. Changing speed still works on web player.
Must be a bug from the latest update.

Same here, see the issue on iOS on both an iPad Air 4th Generation and an iPhone 16 Pro. Playback speed changes in the browser work fine (same devices, Firefox mobile). Also tested on desktop and no issues. I tried turning “Allow Direct Play” off in the Video and Audio settings and nothing changed.

I have paid for a plex pass and IN MY OWN HOME, I cannot change the playback speed of videos on my iOS devices (phone 13, iPad Air 4th gen).
This just started happening this week Feb 18, 2026.
I have in the past been able to do this. My plex server is on a Synology NAS.
Same. It’s killing me it’s broken. Can’t wait until fixed.
Any update on when this is likely to be fixed?
From what I can see the issue is fixed internally. I’m not sure about the ETA for public release.
