something is wrong with the plex services. takes forever to login and no media is avalible.
downdetector is spiking on plex so its just not me. please take a look and fix this.
Here we go again! Grrrrr!
WHY DO WE HAVE TO RELY ON A SHI*T API?
Server is worthless at the moment. I never post on forums and generally easy going but this sh*t is ridiculous!
And it’s peak time… A Saturday night!
So unbelievably annoying!
I’ve got the same issue. It’s not degraded performance as suggested on the status page. Like eiddi all of my clients are getting no media available, either by app or web*.
“degraded performance” my ***. After finally getting through authentication, media doesn’t even load.
ok it seem to working for me now, what about you guys?
Seems to be ok for any client that was already logged in. Or at least it is for PMP on my HTPC, but trying to open and use Plex web is very slow, making it difficult to manage my server.
Looks like Im going to be busy tonight on the phone with my users explaining that its not my server that’s down or playing up, But Plex auth… Dis Gon B Fun…
Hosted web app - gone/dead/dust
Local web app - no issues.
Local Clients - no issues.
yeah seems to have resolved for now. Family P1 is over.
Crisis abated.
Still getting this on plex.tv/desktop, but not causing me a problem as I don’t generally use it.
thank god its working again MAJOR panic here family yelling at me???
run the update
Yeah, not yet… Been stung too many times with flaky PMS updates. I now wait a week or so before I load the next version
Refreshing the web app in the browser usually helps. (F5)
Hi @OttoKerner - Yes, it did
Can confirm things seem to be more stable now.
How come Customers who Paid for a service get a lower level of service than someone who runs the “Free” version
Why oh Why oh Why should I not be able to Play Media From My Plex Server that is Physically (and via IP) next to me when Plex “Central” has a problem
Surely there should be some fallback when Plex’s incompetence causes their Authentication and API server to fail !
