Plex is no longer auto downloading subtitles

I have always had plex automatically download subtitles from opensubtitles and all of the sudden it doesn’t even download.
So now I have to manually go in playback settings and download and select a subtitle for each episode.

Doesnt matter if I watch on windows app, smart tv app or android app.

I have checked and no settings have changed as far as I
can see.

I’ve also tried refreshing metadata for all shows and movies without success.

The current-generation of Plex agents doesn’t support complementary 3rd party agents like the opensubtitles.org one which handled those downloads… so I suppose you recently upgraded your library to the Plex TV Series / Plex Movie agents?

I had a quick check and the libraries does appear to be upgraded.
