Server Version#:1.25.5.5492-12f6b8c83
Player Version#:
Plex has been running fine for years. This started this afternoon. The computer is a Dell Optiplex 755 running windows 7 SP1.
This afternoon I was having some trouble with Matches. The only agent option was Plex TV. I made some changes there and rebooted the server.
When it rebooted I am stuck at the Plex is not reachable message. I downloaded the current version and installed it. No help there. I exited out of my antivirus. Tried accessing from another computer. No luck. Not running a VPN.
Not sure what to do next.
Thanks,
Brian
Logs might help but here are the basics. What was your method of choice to access Plex Web?
http://[Local Plex Media Server IP Address]:32400/web
(e.g. http://192.168.1.25:32400/web) Or locally, from the computer running the server:
http://localhost:32400/web
or
http://127.0.0.1:32400/web
https://status.plex.tv/ no issues
https://status.themoviedb.org/ No issues
api.thetvdb.com Questionable but no concrete evidence of it being down
127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/
That is the url that is trying to load. Love to get logs, but can’t get any further.
After you exit it/shut down Plex. Did you do a End Task from Task Manager? Perhaps there’s something lingering behind that caused the server to get stuck. Then reopen the Plex Server.
I think I might have found the problem. I removed Plex completely including the local data. Rebooted. I can’t get a network connection. Clicking on the connection it shows BTGuard VPN. I’ve never installed that. I went into Programs and Features and removed it. But it is still there blocking my internet connection. Any idea how to remove it?
I found a work around. The problem had nothing to do with Plex. I have no idea how this happened, but the network adapter is corrupted with BTGuard. I’ve uninstalled everything I could find related to a VPN. Including in the Device Manager. I have a Ethernet to USB adpter. Using it works fine.
