Plex is not showing on Android Auto

Hi,

I’m trying to setup PLEX to be my new music player on the go with the announcement Google Play is shutting down. I can use plexamp fine and even the normal plex app out and about.

However when it comes to android auto I’m not having great luck.

As you can see the PLEX app doesn’t show at all. If I open the normal app up on my phone and play music I can hear it through AA but still doesn’t show the icon. I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. Plus also installed another app that supports AA (VLC) and this icon showed no issue.

I have a Plex Pass (and have had so for around 2-3 years now) so not sure why it’s not showing.

Derp, for some reason in AA settings it was set as hidden.

Oh well, I’ll leave this here for others.
