I’m having some trouble with Plex, I have the series DragonBall (Dub) and the episodes have two names, and the episodes titles are correct but the video is not, so an example the first episode plays not the first episode but instead an episode that is in the last season. How do I fix this?
step 1: check if this is only a mismatch in Plex or if the files might be mixed up (you can do this by playing the video files locally using e.g. VLC).
if that’s not it, you might help us helping you by providing some example of how you’ve named/organized this show in your file system.
For me, whatever is recording the show (Plex or HDHomeRun?) has two different file name formats for the same show (recording on different channels?), which confuses Plex and creates a situation where Plex plays the wrong episode (see screen prints for filename formats).
