Not sure where to place this in the forum so please help me out. I downloaded courage the cowardly dog all seasons. What I notice when going on any Plex player i.e., Roku, phone, or computer I notice I am seeing duplicate videos. So, each download file has 2 episodes that play together as one. Then the next episode title tag is different, but it plays as a repeat of the episode before it and then plays a section of the new episode. This repeats on and on and on with each of the episodes titled correctly but always repeating the previous one and then the correct episode. It’s really frustrating to watch and I don’t know how to correct this. Each movie file plays fine but not on the media players. I have deleted and reinstalled the seasons and the problem still persists. Please help me out. Thank you,
You probably might want to look into your file naming for that show to make Plex recognize them properly.
If a single file contains multiple episodes you can reflect that in their name (e.g. TV Shows > Courage the Cowardly Dog > Season 01 > Courage the Cowardly Dog - s01e01-e02.ext, where .ext is your file extension).
This should directly jump to episode 3 after watching the file with episodes 1 and 2, however if you click play on the library record/item for episodes 1 or 2, it’ll always play the entire file. To avoid confusion I personally prefer splitting such episodes… this can e.g. be done by MKVToolNix using the Multiplexer tab and setting the output to Split before chapters (assuming the file has chapter markers between both episodes; doing it with timestamps works as well but is trickier).

After renaming the files you might need to perform a Plex Dance to force Plex to actually re-categorize files it already knew (otherwise it might fallback to existing scan/mapping information from its cache).
Ok, I will give it a try. I took several screenshots to show. In the first one, you see the actual files on my server. Then the 2nd photo shows them on plex. The episode that shows granny stew is in the first episode as the 2nd one but in the next episode it starts as the first one with a new one, Does that make sense?

Do you mean the file that contains episodes 1+2 is playing those episodes in the correct sequence but in the file that contains episodes 3+4, it’s actually playing episode 4 first and then episode 3?
