"Plex is unable to find a matching config file" error message on TV

Player Version#: can’t get into it on my TV too find this number, but it’s the newest version available

Tv: Phillips release tpm186e_018.005.058.001
In the last few weeks, my plex server, running off an m1 mac mini connected via LAN has stopped working on my Phillips TV. Previously, I was able to connect both through the installed app and also by casting from the android app on my phone to the 4k chromecast which is plugged in.

Now neither method works. The TV app displays this message and pressing either button just takes me back to the same message after another 10 seconds or so.

The phone app plays fine on my phone, but as soon as I cast, the playback freezes and never connects to the tv.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the tv app, with a power cycle in between but nothing works.

Any advice on other things I can try would be much appreciated.

Just to give your post a bump, here’s another Phillips tv user getting the same error. I’ve never seen this error before.

Seems the Phillips TV is not supported broadly and varies by country, but since it was working and now doesn’t, wonder what’s going on: https://support.plex.tv/articles/204080173-which-smart-tv-models-are-supported/

We are looking into it but as far as we can tell Phillips configured the app incorrectly.
