Plex is using 30% CPU constantly - Clean plex Installation, no media

Issue:
The following program is using 30% CPU constantly.

I had the same issue with my old plex installation so I did a clean reinstall of plex. At this moment my plex is empty, But the issue persists.

If you need logs, Kindly mention the log file name. I can see too many files at the log directory.

In a browser going to https//app.plex.tv/web Settings > Troubleshooting will present you with an option to download your logs and then you can upload here. This zips up all the log files which they need for troubleshooting.

Turn on DEBUG but not VERBOSE for logging. Save and restart Plex.

The only thing showing right now is that your are double nat’d, if you turned on remote access turn that off for now.

Hi,

It is fresh plex installation. I don’t recall changing log to verbose. As it was very annoying I had disabled it from startup. at this moment there is no spike. I don’t know when the spike starts but it starts.

Anyway, have you checked Plex Media Server.2.log Plex Media Server.3.log? There are lots of error about ‘curl_easy_perform’, SSL etc
