Server Version#: 1.28.1.6104
Player Version#: Up to date but not sure how to check
After launching Plex for the first time in a while I’ve noticed that my media isn’t loading properly on my Nvidia shield server. When I go to view my shows on my Nvidia Shield I’m stuck with a circle that loads forever. The media is stored on an external hard drive, which I’ve checked and the media is all working normally if I connect it to my PC.
It’s strange to me that neither are working, especially since it was working fine before hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My windows server actually seems to be working after a computer restart that I did shortly after my post. Since this fixed one issue, I decided to restart my Nvidia Shield to see if that would help. Unfortunately it did not and that’s still stuck on the circle that won’t stop trying to load. I’m not quite sure how to access the logs from the Nvidia shield. Editing my original post to include only the current issue.
Edit: I think that I can still view the logs from my shield server from the PC as well? I’m not sure but I’d be willing to try. When I download the logs there are several files. Which would be helpful to share? This would be my first time doing this and I’m not sure if there’s anything I should exclude that could potentially share information that I shouldn’t.
The logs can contain both your IP address and some of the file names for your media. Ideally post all of the logs as often we poke thru 3-10 different files looking for issues.
I’m not super tech savvy and as a result I’m not sure how great of an idea it is to share my IP address? I guess I’m just a bit uncomfortable with it because of that hah. Are there any other steps that we could take to possibly troubleshoot or is that just something I’d need to do in order to get help?
