Server Version#: latest update as of 26th of June 2022
Player Version#:17.22
So I updated to the latest version of Plex media server and then problems started on my Nvidia Plex server.
First under settings on the Plex app and there is nothing under Plex media server even though I know it is installed so can’t see the version it is running.
Second I have rebooted and reinstalled Plex media server many times and it still doesn’t work. I can see the server from other devices but when trying to play content, it says the media is unavailable but when I play it on the Nvidia shield, not problems what so ever it can play the media
Is there any fixes you can recommend, tried clearing cache, changing permissions as per previous posts. Tried many things
see attached, hopefully someone can help as i can access my database on the nvidia shiled but the media is unavailable when coming form another device.
Im seeing ERROR - [EventSourceClient/mediaserver/10-0-0-26.ca384d301ba046a9b075b7ce90db2487.plex.direct:32400] Retrying in 240 seconds. but not sure if that matters, hopefully I can get second opinion on your log files.
Your logs show that server is signed in/claimed with a different account.
Jun 26, 2022 20:50:21.972 [24819] DEBUG - MyPlex: username is nevos2005,
If you are signed into player apps with the account you are using on forum dbirch then it would explain why you cannot see it in other apps. ( if the nevos2005 account did not give library access to your dbirch account
So according to plex on my computer it is claimed on the right account. I can see all the media but they are unavailable when trying to play it, the media is available to play when playing from the nvidia shield but under settings of the nvidia shield I can’t see the media server option or location of where the data is saved.
I have reinstalled it twice and at first it works then leaving it it just stops working.
So I can access all the settings from my computer from the nvidia shield but can’t play any media!! Only from the nvidia shield can I play the content.
