Plex Issue: Pfsense & Unraid

I am running my Plex server on a Dell PowerEdge R730XD server via Unraid. Everything works well. I have, however, noticed the occasional remote device showing up as indirect connection. I have done research and applied two fixes:

  1. I added a “plex.direct” exception in DNS resolver, which didn’t solve THAT problem, but solved an issue I had previously.

  2. I changed the NAT Type to Enabled: pure NAT. Didn’t fix the indirect issue.

I had a hunch that setting security to required instead of preferred would fix it, but that makes it to where I can’t access the GUI in the traditional fashion. Any advice guys?
