Hi everyone. I just purchased a new. Sony Bravia XR-65A95K which includes the Google TV operating system. I downloaded the Plex app and installed it and it’s working as it should except for one thing. Periodically the Plex seek / progress bar will pop up randomly. It’s quite distracting when you’re trying to watch a movie.
I have removed the Plex app then reinstalled. I even reset the TV to factory settings and started all over again but to no avail. I have removed the batteries to the remote control thinking that perhaps it was a stray signal that was popping it up but it isn’t.
Has anyone else experienced this before and if so, how did you resolve it?
Thank you for your immediate reply and willingness to help me with this situation. I took a few days to confirm but it does not appear to be the Plex app that was causing the issue. I had connected my Nvidia Shield Game controller to the Sony TV and it seems that the controller was actually causing the malfunction. After I unpaired the controller, the issue has not reoccurred. Thank you again for your willingness to help. I will mark the issue as resolved.
