Plex just stopped working after an update to the latest version. How can I fix it?

I have plex running on an Ubuntu 14 LTS with nothing else there. So fat i have done the following:
1 - Uodated to the latest version.
2 - Rebooted
3 - Never able to see content or connect to http://192.168.1.204:32400/web
4 - Purged plex (apt-get purge plexmediaserver
5 - Installed the last working version of plex
6 - Never able to connect to http://192.168.1.204:32400/web
7 - Added the app to my NAS… can connect to it but no clients can see or play media…

Is there a global issue?

I just installed a brand new server with Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS, and added latest plex… cannot connect to http://192.168.1.205:32400/web… strange!

OK, new install worked… firewall issue… still, why did the original justcrap out?
