Why does plex keeps changing internet streaming video quality to 720 2 mbps even after I save it and log out.

Server Version#: Version 4.62.1
Player Version#: windows 10

It doesn’t do that for me.
Mind sharing some more details about what exactly you configure and where?

Also… with which version of PMS do you experience this behavior? [Edit: The server version, not that of Plex Web]

Tell your web browser and/or your anti virus not to delete the cookies from plex.tv
Because otherwise all the preferences of the web app are reset each time you close your browser.

so I think this is my Version 1.23.6.4881

I went in firefox and unchecked delete cookies when firefox is closed, still same result.

It also asks me to choose preferred server every time I log in via my windows PC

You might have other software on your computer which deletes the cookies from your browser.
Examples are certain anti virus packages, and things like CCleaner and similar “privacy enhancers”.

I fixed it was the sync settings under general, and the fact that I was not retaining history in my browser.
