Plex keeps crashing on on Synology

I’m not sure where to look in the logs to find out why? It’s been happening for a few weeks. When it happens I just go into Package Center on Synology and re-start the application but super frustrating. Any tips? I tried looking on console in settings but didn’t see anything.

Confirm your system is set for debug level server logs.
See Reporting issues with Plex Media Server.

After next crash, restart Plex, wait 1 - 2 minutes for Plex to fully start.

Pull log files and attach entire zip file to the thread.
Settings → Troubleshooting → Download Log Files

I’m on Version 1.23.6.4881 an it says up to date when I check. I downloaded logs. Which ones should I upload?

Hey @trumpy81

I too am experiencing this issue, but my Plex doesn’t scan any download directories. Any ideas why this would be occurring?

I am on Version 1.24.0.4897.

Thanks for looking! I actually don’t have it watch my downloads folder that I’m aware of? I always move my files to my plex folders after downloads are complete. Is there a setting I can double check?

Correct. I understand it’s confusing because of the folder named “torrents” but no, I do not download to that location. I download on my Mac, to my downloads and manually move to my Syno after.

Just updated this AM. I’ll try today and report back. Thanks for your help!!!

Thank you, I have made the fixes and will monitor for any more crashes.

@trumpy81 This is happening again on Version 1.24.1.4931. I don’t use my /volume1/music for Plex.
