I actually didn’t know about this change until just last night. I’ve been avoiding the LG Plex app on purpose due to the “buffering after FF/REW” bug.
The web app also has this change in recently-added row behavior, but I found out if I turn off the automatic management setting and go to manual Home Screen management it recombines the different media types again, but there is no such setting on the LG.
