Same problem here on an Amazon Firestick - couldn’t see my Movies library hosted on my Synology NAS. On your TV, fire up Plex. You’ll see a “Home” icon. To the left of it you’ll see three vertical dots. Scroll to that and select it. Scroll to and select “Reset All Customizations” on the next page. Answer “Yes” to the warning on the next screen. The next screen should now display your library, as well as the Plex online stuff - “Movies & TV (on Plex)”, “Web Shows,” “News,” etc. Uncheck any of those you don’t want to display on your Home screen. Click Continue. Back on the Home screen you should now see your library.
One more thing I had to do on another TV with Firestick, when these steps didn’t resolve the issue - force a stop on the Plex app in the main Firestick settings.
Still no luck…signed out… deleted app… reinstalled…still no library or playlist option when I try to reset customize…only a problem on my fire stick. Works fine on my phone tablet and wife’s iPhone…version 7.25.1…no newer app available on firestick
Seeing the same issue here on my Firestick, using a QNAP 453be with Plex (latest version installed). Tried reseting customizations. Tried upgrading to latest plex. Tried signing out/in. Still just seeing

only thing that shows up is Podcasts, which is not on that server, which is weird…
If I access Plex on my phone or web browser I see all of my libraries and can play them.
I ran into this as well. I got it working by letting it sit for a while (like 10 minutes), then unplugged the Fire TV, waited a minute, then plugged it back in. When I then went to the three dot menu of Home and reset the settings all my libraries showed up. Hope that helps.
I was literally just setting Plex up for my brothers Fire TV 4K UHD (Pendant) - and thought I was going nuts. I’m somewhat glad to hear it’s poss recognised as a bug - but also a bugger as now gotta play a waiting game for the update to get approved
I’ve tried resetting settings a few times - not sure how people are “Signing Out” on the Fire TV though - I haven’t found any way to sign the user out. I tried “Switch User” to create another user but it just sat with a loading wheel thing for almost 20 mins before I gave up on that route.
My SERVER shows up but none of the libraries do… This is a new Fire TV Setup (It was reset to factory when I gave it to my brother) and new install of Plex etc. So frustrating though
I was going nuts after trying to set up my new 4K Fire Stick tonight. I couldn’t get Plex to see my library no matter what I did, then I realized something… My VPN was running on my Plex server. This is never an issue once a device/app is synced, it is apparently an issue during setup.
Turned off PIA and the Fire Stick saw my library immediately.
