Tried to buy this thing during the sale but couldn’t. I have a plex subscription through the apple store and I had to cancel that first and wait a couple days.
A couple days have passed and now I can buy the lifetime pass but it’s no longer discounted. Am I just hosed? Any way to get that discount again?

I just got done talking with support. No luck, they said I’m not eligible because even though I cancelled my app store subscription it’s still active until the end of the monthly cycle.
Cool part is I can’t watch plex remotely anymore even though my subscription isn’t active… and I can’t setup a subscription through the plex store because the apple one is still “active”. So lame. Have to do a cancellation of my app store sub a couple days before it expires I guess to make it more seamless.
Should be better integrated imo. Only people who suffer from this are customers which isn’t usually the best idea!
