Hey guys, longtime Plex user, new to the forums. I was interested in getting the Lifetime Plex pass and I saw that some people are getting a great deal for $74.99 from their email. I noticed that I haven’t received an email from Plex for the better part of a year. So I’m not sure if my account is messed up or if I did something wrong? Maybe the email deal just doesn’t get offered to everyone. Is there anyway for me to take advantage of the lifetime discount?
Your email provider likes to delay and filter out newsletters and other mail they deem as “irrelevant”.
If you can’t find anything from Plex in your spam folder (or wherever they sort all these irrelevant emails), then you should ask them about it.
When did that email go out? I use iCloud and haven’t seen anything in my junk folder either…
Those kinds of emails are not sent out to everyone. It is completely up to marketing how the recipients are selected and how many get a special offer.
