When I do an ATSC scan, Plex does not find all the channels that other software DOES find. (WinTV from Hauppague and NextPVR) It is NOT a tuner or signal issue. It is a Plex supported tuner from Hauppague, strong OTA signal. A WinTV scan finds all the channels but Plex DOES NOT. I’ve rescanned MANY times, I’ve uninstalled Plex and did a fresh install. The Plex scan simply does not find ATSC OTA channels that are clearly there.

I have the same issue. Antenna on HDhomerun app alone finds several channels that I can’t get when the HDhomerun is connected to Plex, NBC for one. When move the cable from the HDhomerun to the supported Hauppaugge card, I get perhaps 10 fewer channels. Its really, really odd behavior.
I have buyer’s remorse on Plex now because I paid a year specifically to get certain OTA channels on my Roku and Plex OTA ATSC scan does not find them even though I can prove they are there with full/strong signal. Support emails bounce back. Very disappointed.
