Plex Loading Very Slow & Home Streaming

When starting my server the loading home screen takes forever to load. I have attached my logs for further investigating.

Also I am using the LG APP to stream movies. However I am getting the constant buffering in the movie. I thought I would have no issues being on the same network. Can someone recommend settings that are best suited for streaming moves inside my own network.

How is your Plex setup, where’s the PMS running, where’s the media, network connection, port forwarding setup, client side set to not transcode, etc?

PMS is running on my PC on the same network.

Port Forwarding is all working fine.

What does direct stream and direct play mean and should they be checked?

You want Direct Play/Direct Stream when playing locally or whenever possible as it does not take much CPU to stream the media. If it’s Tranciding, then it’s converting the files to a compatible format that either the client can’t handle the original format or due to quality reduction to save data (useful for streaming out of your network). Transcoding takes up CPU and requires a Plex Pass which you have. The settings are both on the admin side if you want to cap it on what’s going outside (under Remote Access) your network and on all your clients you use (change settings for each client).
