Plex loses connection or stops playing video stored on NAS

<Just got a new Synology NAS, 2 bay that I decided to run as a Raid 1 (not sure of I got the description right). I am storing all my media on the NAS. I have a brand new Apple Mac Mini with M1 chip acting as the server using Plex Media Server. I finally got it all set up and tried to watch a movie. It ran fine for 3/4 of an hour then the spinning icon with a percent in the center pops up and the pictures first freezes then I get an error message that the media is not available. Not sure if this is important, I have a Roku device that has the Plex Media Program on it. I am assuming that the Roku communicates with the Plex Media Server on the Mac Mini. I have the Plex Pass. Can someone help me to determine how to troubleshoot this issue?

I have a similar problem with Plex Server 1.25.2 running on a 2013 Mac Pro streaming over 5 GHz wifi to an AppleTV 4K with the most current version of the Plex player. Plex on the Apple TV loses the connection about every 45 minutes, stops playing, and can’t find anything in the library.
If I switch to a different Plex user and back again it will work for about another 45 minutes.
I have not found a solution yet.
