Plex loses connection with my Synology NAS

I use a Synology NAS with DSM 7. I use Plex. Often the connection to Plex is lost. A workaround that can be applied is to disable and re-enable Plex via the Package Center. This is annoying because the problem keeps coming back regularly. The problem also existed in DSM 6.

Is there a solution for this?

Sounds like there might be some network issues, e.g. your router’s DHCP server frequently re-assigning local IP addresses or a VPN that might be interfering with the apps seeing your server.

The IP address of my NAS is reserved. It have the same IP address.
