Would need similar investigation with diagnostics / logs to see why this is happening
What would be needed
- what plex client app is used / device
- if it is Plex Web - to try the hosted app on
https://app/plex.tv/desktopand also the bundled app on the server throughhttp://127.0.0.1:32400/web - and to try with different browsers
- info on what actions / steps that would give rise to the issue
- info on types of subtitles eg ASS, SRT etc
- provide server logs and indicate exactly when the subs get lost
