Plex (Mac) gets me only a black screen

Mac OS 10.14.6 using a gpu enclosure with a Radeon RX 580 8 GB. It starts, shows me the log and then only black content on the window.

Mine worked for a bit and then I get black screen also.

Same here. eGPU, RX580.
Doesn’t work if I load Plex when the eGPU is already connected

Does work if I connect the eGPU after loading Plex, or if I enable “prefer external GPU”.

Installed new Plex for Mac app (1.2.0.875-b7362913) and only get a blank (black) screen after initial Plex logo. Only options in top menu are apple logo and “Plex” (nothing under it functions, even Preferences). Luckily can still use PMS / PMP / Plex.tv. [MacPro w/ macOS High Sierra (10.13.6) and graphics: AMD FirePro D300 2048 MB]

Same here. Black screen on launch and preferences won’t load either.

This should now be fixed in v 1.3 that was just released. please let us know if you continue to have issues after upgrading :slight_smile:

Appears to be working for me now, thanks! [FYI to group, downloaded file is the ‘Plex’ for Mac app; doesn’t require installation efforts from downloaded file.]
